Praise The Lord, God is Not Fair
Moses’ sin of striking the rock instead of speaking to it, as commanded by God, is recorded in Numbers 20:7-12. The Israelites were in the wilderness, facing severe thirst, and they complained bitterly. God instructed Moses to speak to the rock at Meribah, promising it would yield water. However, in frustration, Moses struck the rock twice with his staff, saying, “Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?” (Numbers 20:10, KJV). Though water did flow, God rebuked Moses and Aaron for their lack of faith and failure to sanctify Him before the people.

Who Then Can Be Saved?
Salvation in Luke 18:26 emphasizes the impossibility of human efforts to achieve eternal life. The disciples’ question, “Who then can be saved?” reflects the realization that neither wealth nor good deeds can secure salvation. This underscores the need for God’s grace, as what is impossible for humans is possible with God. Human effort, status, or possessions are futile in the pursuit of salvation; it is entirely an act of divine intervention.
Trusting God In Spite of Everything
Trusting God often means releasing the need to control every outcome. It’s a surrender of our plans, fears, and what we think should happen, knowing that God’s understanding and ways are higher than ours. When we choose trust, we invite peace into situations that could otherwise overwhelm us.
Spiritual Gifts
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:4). Spiritual gifts are divine abilities imparted to believers by the Holy Spirit to serve and strengthen the Church. Each gift is uniquely given, whether it’s wisdom, prophecy, or service, and together, they reveal God’s plan for unity and edification within His people. Discover how these gifts work in harmony to fulfill God’s purpose in the body of Christ.
