The Ministries of Maranatha

If you're looking for a place to serve the Lord, Maranatha has a place just for you! Some areas include: the Bus Ministry, Parking Lot, Visitation Cooking Teams, Nursery Services, Sunday School Teaching, Children's Church, Master Clubs and many other areas. Whatever your gift, we're sure that Lord has provided just the place for you at Maranatha.

Music
The purpose of the Music Ministry at Maranatha Baptist Church is to lift up the name of our Lord through Christ-honoring music. Congregational music and inspiring selections by the Adult Choir prepare hearts for God's Word.

Japanese
We are concerned about reaching the Japanese people on Okinawa. This is done through Japanese Sunday school classes, Wednesday evening Japanese Bible studies. Translation is provided during the Sunday morning messages.

Singles & GI's
The goal of the Singles/G.I. ministry is to reach the single GI's and civilians of Okinawa. With weekly activities, a meal after Sunday morning church and the Servicemen's Center, the G.I. ministry gives the singles of Okinawa a place to go and something to do.

Teens
Our teen group meets often for Bible Studies in the homes of Maranatha families. They enjoy special outings, visitation and witnessing. And yes, the occasional foray onto the paintball field--watch out for those Special Forces guys!
